my pro-ana food rules

BEFORE:

o THINK – about the time and how close it is to your planned meal time

never eat past 7PM or before 7AM

is the food you are about to eat beneficial or does it hinder progress

o WAIT – double think and see if you really need the food?

remind yourself of your rewards, quotes, reasons ect...

o OBSERVE – what you are going to put into your body

decide immediately how much you are going to eat

how other people are eating: skinny – take note, if they are fat – watch in disgust

o ASSOCIATION – apply food association with what you are going to eat

DURING:

o CUT FOOD – into tiny pieces, so that it takes longer to eat and fills you up quicker

o THREE BITES – focus on the first three bites

o 30 CHEWS – chew your food thirty times or until it liquefies

o SIP WATER – between each bite take a sip of water

o SLOW – take a long time to eat each bite so that it takes longer to eat, therefore you become full

it creates a perfect opportunity to finish with half a plate cause everyone’s done

o ENFORCE HABITS – ‘select’ foods on your plate

move the food and create an order

AFTER:

o ALWAYS LEAVE SOMETHING – never EVER eat everything on your plate

people always notice when someone has eaten everything on it

every calorie counts!!

o IMMEDIATE REACTION – stop eating and if tempted throw out

feeling satisfied, but want to finish it? Don’t. Put in garbage, sabotage it

Ana Quotes - my favourite few

o Nothing tastes as good as thin feels

o The thinner the winner

o You can never be too rich or too thin

o A pleasure to the lips adds pounds to the hips

o I’m not there yet, but I am closer than I was yesterday

o The difference between want and need is self control

o An imperfect body reflects an imperfect person

o Quod me nutruit, me destruit – what nourishes me, also destroys me

o Mind over matter and I won’t get fatter

o Do not give up what you want most, for what you want in the moment

o If it was easy, everyone would be thin

o An ordinary girl, an ordinary waist; but ordinary is just not good enough anymore

o Skip dinner, end up thinner

o Food hinders progress

o Sacrifice is giving up something good for something even better

o Not eating light makes your clothes too tight

o Don’t give up 5 minutes before the miracle

o Don’t do anything today that you will regret tomorrow

o If you give in, you have not only failed yourself, but you have become what you gave into!

o Don’t be a slave to food, you are better than that!

o For everything you don’t eat; there’s always someone just down the street giving into temptation, making themselves disgusting

o I do eat; only what is needed. I can’t help that we live in a piggish society where gluttony is the norm, and everyone is constantly stuffing themselves

o Giving into food shows weakness – be strong and you will be better than everyone else

o You have to realise that what appears today to be a sacrifice, will instead prove to be the greatest investment you ever made

o Eat not – want not

o It’s simple. You decide once and for all that you aren’t going to eat, and there is no further decision to make

o Love not what you are, but what you may become

o When it comes to losing weight, those who can: do, those who can’t: make excuses

o I don’t take the first bite, I don’t begin. I have no problem

o Be like a postage stamp – stick with it until you get there

o Every time you say “No thank you” to food, you are saying “Yes please” to being thin

o Motivation is what gets you started, it’s habits that keep you going

o Perfection is not attained when there is nothing to add, but nothing to take away

o Eat less, weigh less

o Thin has a taste of its own

o It’s the mind that makes the body

o Thin is ALWAYS in

o Hunger hurts but starving works

o The more they give me, the less I eat

o Every time I have the opportunity to eat, I have the strength to refuse

o Be yourself, only thinner

o Everyone is capable of improvement

o The difficulties and struggles of today are but the price we must pay for the accomplishments and victories of tomorrow

o I want my clothes to hang off me, not stick

o I don’t care if it hurts. I want to have control. I want a perfect body. I want a perfect soul

o Everything I want is buried under a layer of fat

o Hunger won’t betray you like eating will

o What’s in your fingers today is on your hips tomorrow

o Lose everything and what is real will still remain
